FRANSABANK succeeded in raising the amount of its credit line from the Arab Trade Finance Program (ATFP) to USD 15 million for two years. The original credit line was USD 10 million in 1998 and USD 7 million in 1997. Under this credit line, the Bank has so far extended credit with an amount of USD 41 million against USD 16 million in 1998. By this, FRANSABANK is developing its role as a national agency for the Program in Lebanon to help in growing trade relations between the country and other Arab nations.
