FRANSABANK Group announced that it was granted the final approval to establish and operate FRANSABANK Syria. FRANSABANK Syria will operate with a capital of USD 35 million and will provide all financial services including retail, corporate and investment banking services. This expansion is FRANSABANK Group’s third regional expansions after it has entered the Algerian market through establishing FRANSABANK El Djazaїr and the Sudanese market through its participation in the Islamic Capital Bank. The new Bank will operate through its headquarter in Damascus and through different branches covering various Syrian cities to be opened according to a medium-term expansion strategy.
