Mr. Adnan Kassar, Chairman and CEO of FRANSABANK, Mr. Adel Kassar Chairman and General Manager of Lebanese Leasing Company, Dr. Ali Fahed Al-Zumai Chairman and General Manager of Aref Investment Group ( Kuwait ), and Dr. Khalid Rashed Al-Hajiri Chairman and CEO of International Company for Leasing and Investment (Kuwait), signed a memorandum of understanding for the establishment of an Islamic Leasing Company. The new company’s activities will mainly cover Lebanon and Syria . It will also pursue existing and potential investment opportunities in the Arab regional markets in general. This step complements FRANSABANK’s strategy which focuses on enhancing its financial and investment position in the Arab and Islamic regions. It also proves the Bank’s continuous determination to establish and develop strategic business relations with leading financial companies and institutions both regionally and internationally.
