Within the Bank’s strategy to support local small and medium-sized businesses and foster their growth, FRANSABANK continued its workshops at the various Lebanese areas to introduce its range of relevant SME financing programs, while providing investment advice and guidance to all participants. These workshops served as true reflection to the Bank's strategy through which it intends to offer customized services to its current and local clients and on a direct one-to-one basis.
Accordingly, FRANSABANK organized several new workshops in the areas of Metn, Keserwan, Batroun, Halba and Akkar as an extension to previous workshops that were held in Marjeyoun, West Bekaa and Baakline. During these gatherings, FRANSABANK representatives discussed the specialized and diverse programs that the Bank offers for small and medium sized businesses such as Kafalat and Subsidized programs targeting the industry, tourism, agriculture, crafting, and high technology sectors. The workshops also focused on the Central Bank’s decree number 185 relevant to the funding of non-subsidized sectors such as trade, health, education and media. The two coupled will allow FRANSABANK to cover all existing small and medium sized businesses.
A significant number of the visited areas’ farmers, traders and industrialists participated at the workshops, who have in return expressed their interest in these programs to enable them to further expand and develop their businesses.
Each event was followed by a cocktail reception that served as a great opportunity for the participants to interact with the present FRANSABANK executives.
