MasterCard appoints FRANSABANK for the 2nd time as a member of its Board of Directors for the South Asian, Middle Eastern & African region (SAMEA)

Mr. Nadim Kassar, Deputy General Manager of FRANSABANK Sal and Chairman of Fransa Invest Bank Sal, has represented FRANSABANK Sal in the annual MasterCard International Board of Directors meeting of the South Asian, Middle Eastern & African region (SAMEA), which was held in Capetown, South Africa. MasterCard, in turn, was represented by Messrs. Alan Heuer the Executive Operations Director, Sony Sannon President of the SAMEA region, André Sekulic the Vice President of the Asia Pacific region, and Lawrence Flanagan the Executive Marketing Director. Being first selected in 2001, this is the second time whereby FRANSABANK, the sole Lebanese bank, has been assigned as a board member of MasterCard SAMEA. This asserts FRANSABANK’s pioneering role in the development and advancement of credit cards on both the regional and international levels.
