FRANSABANK has launched, in collaboration with the Real Estate Bank of Syria, and in cooperation with the Commercial Bank of Syria, a new service of its type in Syria: the acceptance of world payment cards (Visa and MasterCard) on the local ATMs and POS networks. This was announced during a press conference organized at the headquarters of the Real-Estate Bank of Syria. The press conference was attended by H.E. Dr. Ghassan Al-Rifai the Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Mr. Adnan Kassar FRANSABANK’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Mohamed Bachar Kabbarah the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. Molhem Dibou the Chairman and General Manager of the Real-Estate Bank of Syria, Dr. Mohamed Makhlouf its former Chairman and General Manager, Mr. Tarek Saraj the Chairman and General Manager of the Commercial Bank of Syria, and a group of bankers, businessmen, and media representatives from both countries.
