Fransa Holding and FRANSABANK together acquired Golden Taler Bank, enabling them to enter the Belarus banking sector with the hope of contributing to both the development of the banking sector, in particular, and the Belarus economy, in general. The new name of the bank will be FRANSABANK JSC and will become a part of the FRANSABANK Group.
FRANSABANK’s prospected operational strategy in this new emerging market will be to cooperate with its associated international financial institutions to draw financing and credit facilities to assist Belarusian companies, entrepreneurs and individuals, whether in cities or in rural areas, in the aim of implementing their ideas, starting their own business, fulfilling their demands through personal lending; which in turn will positively reflect on the individuals and community’s welfare. FRANSABANK looks forward to develop its new bank in Belarus and expand the bank into new Belarus cities and suburbs, in order to diffuse among the society and contribute to its development.
This achievement comes in line with the Group’s international expansion strategy into potential markets, as FRANSABANK has penetrated successfully into the European market, mainly in France. Nevertheless, the expansion included several selective regional countries such as Algeria, Sudan, Syria and Libya. FRANSABANK’s main challenge remains to create a better world society, by expanding into new markets and supporting a larger number of potential consumers.
The acquisition of “Golden Taler” bank could not have been possible without the full support and assistance of the National Bank of Belarus, which is playing a critical role in the development of the Belarus banking sector, on sound grounds.
