"As the soil, however rich it may be, cannot be productive without cultivation, so the mind without culture can never produce good fruit.” (Roman Philosopher)

Since 1982, FRANSABANK, and under the management of Messers. Adnan and Adel Kassar, has been a prime supporter of cultural activities in Lebanon.

Rehabilitation of Koura Square

FRANSABANK donated a sum of USD 100,000 to the rehabilitation of Koura Square in Tripoli, North Lebanon. The project was named Koura Plaza and intends to restore and rehabilitate the traditional buildings’ facades of Koura. This reflects the institution’s social responsibility and its direct indulgence in the Lebanese economic, social and cultural activities.

The Beirut Theater

FRANSABANK has provided, in 1993 and following the end of the war in Lebanon, funds to the rehabilitation of the oldest theatre in Lebanon, "The Beirut Theatre". It has also been providing funds to support the activities of this theatre for the past few years.

Lebanese National Museum

FRANSABANK has sponsored the complete rehabilitation and refurbishing of the Lebanese National Museum. This museum had been completely destroyed during the war period in Lebanon.
