“You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the community you are living in; we must give to share a general responsibility towards humanity.” (Anonymous)
“ Forever Lebanon” Will Run in Our Veins

Proceeding from the Bank’s strategy that urges it to develop and progress at all times and circumstances, and asserting its strong belief in a unified Lebanon which entails its entire people, FRANSABANK launched a massive national campaign under the slogan "Forever Lebanon". The campaign aims at supporting the Lebanese citizen and delivering his/her outcry and concerns in light of the unfortunate events that occurred in Lebanon through 2007, and remain. In a tone of solidity and strength, FRANSABANK reflected the firm will of the Lebanese people that are full of confidence, courage, patience and national optimism; and the support, determination and belief of the Lebanese people in their country.
From the Border to the Border

No war will ever stop us. No turmoil will ever move us.” With those simple yet insightful words, FRANSABANK spreads a sense of determination and optimism among its community, clients, partners and employees. Despite the circumstances of the occupation and its repercussions on the security, economic and social levels, FRANSABANK continued to play its full part in the service of the national economy in general and meet the banking and financial needs and demands of the Southerners in specific. The first bank’s branch at Nakoura region was opened and another one in Tyr as well. The opening of those branches in the delicate stage and the difficult circumstances Lebanon witnessed, confirms once again the Bank's commitment to fully play its role in service of the Lebanese economy, through its presence in all parts of the homeland, from the border to border.
The Green Cedar in the Sky

Lebanon’s name and image should not only spread from the border to the border, but should as well cross the continents. That is why FRANSABANK signed an agreement with Middle East Airlines (MEA) to finance the purchase of two new Airbus A 320-200 airplanes worth USD 60 million through a 10 year financing deal, challenging all the political circumstances and turmoil. Through signing this agreement, FRANSABANK once again commits itself to the national cause, and proves that it is in the service of the national economy in all its productive sectors. But most importantly, it is helping the green cedars of Lebanon continue to soar high, maintain the bridges between Lebanon and the rest of the world, and spread a message of peace and love from Lebanon to the globe.
Opportunity Provider

FRANSABANK’s commitment to revive Lebanon is not through spreading its message of optimism and belief in a better Lebanon only, but through a factual translation of concrete tools that will serve as an opportunity provider to its sons. In 2007, FRANSABANK has pledged USD 1 million to the Building Block Equity fund created by Bader- the NGO that provides small and medium business opportunities and promotes entrepreneurship. The fund invests in startups and existing local companies. The first financial program is destined to existing businesses which need further financing to insure a sustainable growth level.
In Memory of all Living Martyrs: Jaipur Foot Porject

Opportunity is not only through offering business chances, but as well through lighting a candle of hope to people who have lost all hope in life. In light of this, FRANSABANK sponsored JAIPUR Foot Project that aims at availing free artificial foot camps for the amputees who lost their limbs as a result of mines or cluster bombs. The project was a joint endeavor between FRANSABANK and UNIFIL for providing free Indian artificial limbs to the Lebanese victims. A total of ninety artificial limbs for 81 people were provided, 80% of which gained direct mobility. As a matter of fact one of them has danced right after fitting both legs – above the knees. Another young gentleman has played basketball with UNIFIL troops on the same day. This humanitarian activity helped FRANSABANK revive once again those living martyrs.
A Brave Initiative with “BraveHeart”

Braveness is not only in re-offering hope to victims of unjust bombarding of humanity, but also in giving hope to pure baby-borns who have the full right to live and enjoy a healthy life. FRANSABANK therefore allied with “Brave Heart Organization” which provides financial assistance to needy children with congenital heart disease, in their Marathon event. The Brave Heart Fund is a charitable, fundraising initiative established in November 2003 at the Children’s Heart Center at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and is operated by volunteers whose lives have been touched by Congenital Heart Disease. And because “no child should die from heart disease because of a lack of fund”, FRANSABANK will always be there to support all needy people in granting them their simplest right in life: the right to life!
Because You Deserve to Live: Drive Safely

The right to live is that in a state of health and safety. That is why FRANSABANK allied with two active local organizations, Kunhadi and YASA (Youth Association for Social Awareness), to raise and spread road safety awareness among youth. We are all road users at some time, whether as drivers, cyclists, pedestrians or passengers. Road Safety is an issue that affects us all. Every week, friends, neighbors, family members or workmates start a journey that they never complete. Not to bare any more losses of loved ones, FRANSABANK joined those two NGO’s in their goal to lower the road car accidents toll in Lebanon.
